Sr. Manager E-Commerce Marketing
Position Summary

The Senior Manager of E-Commerce is an expert in and advocate for performance marketing and will maintain and grow Urban Remedy’s e-commerce channel in that fashion. This includes supporting marketing and communication objectives as well as identifying and building sales and profitability opportunities. Reporting to the VP Marketing, this role is crucial to driving profitable sales, aquiring and retaining customers and leading all e-commerce efforts, including email, SEM, SEO, Affiliate marketing, referral, social and partnerships. These marketing efforts will play an increasingly important role in the growth of the e-commerce channel as well as larger company initiatives. Over the course of the next 6-12 months, this role will interface with all relevant brand stakeholders and outside vendors and will establish the long-term sustainable approach for this important growth vehicle. The ideal candidate has excellent quantitative and analystic skills and a deep interest in teaching the world that food is healing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own creation of the e-commerce marketing vision
  • Partner with VP Marketing to develop an omni-channel strategy that supports a customer experience consistent with consumer buying behavior and drives lifetime value.
  • Develop marketing strategies, budgets and implementation plans including paid, organic, affiliates, etc that will improve lead generation, increase new customer acquisition and drive incremental sales & profitability.
  • Own, drive and manage email strategy and execution.
  • Develop and maintain master content calendar for website that will drive sales as well as support marketing and communications objectives.
  • Negotiate deals with appropriate eMarketing partners and serve as the prime contact to drive new opportunities with these vendors
  • Manage paid search marketing programs and SEO in conjunction with the brand teams through a combination of internal and external resources
  • Develop and share regular performance results, including relevenat KPI dash board, ROI for marketing investments, promotions and campaigns, customer insights and sales forecasting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 5-8 yrs experience in marketing; focus on e-commerce, CRM, loyalty programs and retail
  • 5 years prior management experience
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce cross and upsell opportunities and analytical insights that help drive best online practices.
  • Strong anaylstic skills required, with the ability to leverag quantiative metrics and qualittative insights into meaningful outcome and strategic recmmendations
  • Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with team members in Marketing, IT, Web Fulfillment and Designers to achieve position objectives.
  • Strong sense of urgency about tasks.
  • Experiencing working with web programmers
  • Ability to work independently and with ownership over projects.
  • Self-starter with prior track record building a new team/organization
Technical Skills:
  • Good working knowledge of Magento and MailChimp.
  • Excellent understanding of online promotions and e-commerce revenue drivers.
  • Experience with social media tools including blogs, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Deep experience Google Analytics and / or other third party analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of SEO drivers

Our crew will partner with the Store Manager to develop an in-store culture consistent with the Urban Remedy Foundational Principles (listed below). WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Driver/Shipping Warehouse Team Member

Urban Remedy is recruiting a driver for our retail and wholesale program. The driver will work as part of a team to pack out and deliver fresh organic food and juice to local stores throughout the Bay Area. Candidates should have warehouse and packing experience, be a quick learner, team player, and possesses strong attention to detail. It is critical for the driver to be highly reliable, responsible, and resource driven. This is a fast paced job so the candidate must be able to multitask and work under pressure.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Read and check accuracy of items picked for each order according to each packing list
  • Make deliveries in our refrigerated cold trucks on time and safely
  • Proper placement and care of meals when distributed to sites, including ensuring appropriate temperature levels for all food.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • Delivery equipment maintenance
  • Work in fast paced environment
  • Additional related tasks as necessary
MUST BE WILLING TO:
  • Morning shifts 4 AM-12 PM. Sometimes may be a 2 AM or 3 AM start.
  • Safely maneuver and operate 16-foot box truck.
  • Stay organized and pay attention to detail

  • Physically perform requirements of job, including ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and safely operated wheeled carts and dollies.

  • The ability to read, write and adequately converse in English
  • Experienced and dependable driver (catering/food delivery experience preferred).
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred, but not required
