Butternut Chia Pudding

1 cup Raw cashew milk with vanilla (recipe below)
1 cup organic raw butternut squash cubes
4 Tablespoons chia seeds
Liquid stevia to taste (stevia is 1,000 times sweeter than sugar so start with a few drops and taste for your liking)
1-2 Tablespoons Lecithin

Butternut squash is high in Vit A, Vit C, carotenoids, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds. Chia is rich in Omega 3′s, protein, antioxidants, and fiber. This makes for a healthy snack.
Put all ingredients into high speed blender and blend until smooth. Put in individual cups and chill in the fridge for an hour or two until firm. You can also add coconut butter for thickening and a little more richness.

Cashew Milk: In blender put 3 cups water, 1 cup raw cashews, 1 tsp vanilla and blend until smooth.

Fire Ceremony

The concept of the fire ceremony is an ancient tradition used across many cultures to enact renewal and purification. Because fire transforms something tangible into something unseen, it is a fitting symbol of change.
As you create an intention, write down whatever negative energies, emotions or memories you long to release. When you have completed your cleanse, burn the paper in a fireplace, firepit or even over a candle. As a complementary ritual, you may choose to write the positive affirmations that represent the release of negativity. For example, if your negative statement says something like “I want to let go of feeling tired, unhealthy, and unhappy all the time” your affirmation might read, “I am vibrant and healthy. I enjoy life to the fullest.” Keep these affirmations somewhere you can see them and reflect on them daily—you can even say them aloud, an exercise in personal empowerment.

Coffee Enema

Ingredients Needed:

Typical Foundation Formula

  1. ½ quart (about 16 oz or 2 cups) – Purified water (not tap water) – for heating
  2. ½ quart (about 16 oz) – Purified water – for cooling the heated water
  3. 2 Tablespoons – Organic Coffee (whole coffee beans)

Other Items

  1. Enema bag or bucket
  2. Lubricant (for insertion of tube into rectum): a few drops of Olive Oil or Sesame Oil (Avoid petroleum jellies such as KY or Vaseline)
  3. Old towels (to use when kneeling/laying on the floor); do not use good towels (since any coffee drops will permanently stain the towels)

Instructions

1) Grind Coffee Beans. Fresh-grind the coffee beans to a fine powder. (Do not do this ahead of time so you will get the freshest, most active phytonutrients from the coffee). Pre-ground coffee beans are partially oxidized & should not be used.

2) Simmer Ground Coffee Beans for 5 Minutes. Add the freshly ground coffee bean powder to ½ quart of water and bring to a simmer (small, rolling bubbles) for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.

3) Let Sit for 5 Minutes. Next add Quantum Immune Complex (empty the capsule into the water) and any other capsules into the hot water. Let sit uncovered for 5 to 10 minutes. 10 to 20 minutes. (The soak time helps release of the phytonutrients into the water.)

4) Strain Mixture. Strain the coffee-herbal mixture with a fine metal strainer to remove any large particles that could clog the enema tube. (Or you can pour off the liquid into another bowl, being careful not to pour out the dregs in the bottom.)

5) Add Cool Water to Mixture. Add about ½ quart of room-temperature water (cool or room temperature) to the hot coffee-herbal liquid mixture – then pour into the enema bag. The idea is to cool the hot coffee mixture to a warm temperature (so it is not too hot when inserting the fluid into the rectum). The final mixture should be warm to the touch (not too hot and not too cool) – about 100o F. Note: If the temperature is too hot, it can cause damage to the anus or intestines; if it is too cool, it may cramp the intestines and toxic waste elimination may be poor. However, too cool is better than too hot.

6) Take Enema. Take an enema as follows. (Although not necessary, an excellent time to take an enema is after a bowel elimination.) Keep in mind, coffee may leave permanent stains. You may want to wear old clothes – - and use old towels (or paper towels).

Apply a small amount of oil (such as Olive Oil) to the anal area (for ease of insertion of the enema nozzle). An excellent position to do the enema is on a rug on the floor (near a toilet) on your knees with your head down near the floor. The enema bag should be hung on a towel rack (or shower curtain rod) – elevating the liquid is necessary to have enough pressure for the fluid to flow into the colon.

While leaning on one hand on the floor, with the other hand, gently insert the enema nozzle into the rectum. Be sure the nozzle is inserted fully. (Be sure to put your head down near the floor so gravity will help the fluid flow downwards into the colon.) Slowly release the hose clamp to allow the liquid to begin to flow into the colon. (Often you will have the sensation of warm liquid gurgling of flowing into the colon.)

If the flow seems too fast, close the hose clamp; wait for a minute or two, then open the clamp again. Try to take about half of the liquid (about ½ quart) into the bowels; then hold for 10 minutes before expelling. (During this time, you may close the clamp, remove the nozzle from the rectum; then lay on your right side during the 10 minutes – or lay on your back with legs and pelvis elevated on a pillow – if possible. If desired, you may lay in a bathtub during this time – for easier cleanup.) This is a great time for reading. After 10 minutes, expel the fluid. Then take in the second ½ quart and hold for another 10 minutes. Then expel. You’re done!

Often, if some fecal matter is lower in the rectal tract, you may want to take in about 1/8 or ¼ of the liquid – - just enough to expel the fecal matter in the lower tract (in this cast, it is not necessary to hold the liquid for any period of time). Then divide the remaining liquid approximately in half (mentally) – - and hold each portion for 10 minutes – -to allow adequate soaking time to cleanse hardened fecal material, infectious organisms, other toxins, etc. in the lower rectal tract.

After taking in the liquid and nature calls (i.e. you feel a strong urge to expel the liquid) – even after a minute or two, do not resist – - go ahead and expel it. At first, it may be hard to hold the liquid for the full 10 minutes (or even a few minutes). Later, after several enemas (and thus a certain amount of toxic elimination), it will be much easier for the bowels to hold the liquid for the full 10 minutes.

Best enema time:

During the day before 8 pm. Give yourself some time to rest after the enema (20 to 30 minutes). For about ½ hour after your enema, remain at home or near a toilet. This helps ensure that you will be near a toilet if another small amount of enema liquid needs to come out that was not expelled earlier. (Sometimes, if the enema liquid reaches higher in the colon tract, it may take longer to move down into the lower bowel to be expelled. So don’t be surprised if you need to expel another small amount of liquid.)

Special Notes

Regarding Nausea during the Enema

During your first few enemas, you may experience some nausea during or after the enema process. This is often due to the release of internal stagnant, putrefied toxins. Do no let this deter you from continuing with a series of coffee enemas. Overtime, most people will find that the nausea clears within a short time. If you do experience nausea, you may want to follow the enema with a warm cup of tea (such as green tea or hyssop tea).

Recommended Number of Coffee Enemas

The condition of the colon (and its relationship with the liver/gallbladder) of an average American adult contains high levels of toxic, stagnant waste. Therefore, we typically recommend a series of coffee enemas as follows: one coffee enema per week for 4 weeks; then 2 coffee enemas per week for 4 weeks. After completing this series, we recommend a “maintenance” coffee enema once every 60 days. This is a magnificent, highly efficient procedure to eliminate ongoing, but still bio-accumulating toxic residues from the exposure to dietary (especially restaurant eating) and environmental toxins.

Castor Oil Packs

Items Needed:

• 2 bottles of 100% Extra Virgin, Cold-Pressed Castor Oil (8 oz) – Premier Quality from India (guaranteed hexane-free)
• Cotton Flannel – 3 sheets of certified organic cotton flannel (natural beige); no toxic bleaches, pesticides or chemicals
• Plastic Sheet – a plastic sheet (such as a garbage bag), plus a bath towel and a few safety pins or large elastic bandage
• Electric heating pad (for dry, not moist heat) – to gently heat the castor oil pack while it is in place on the body.

Instructions

1. Prepare 3 layers of cotton flannel. Fold or cut the cloth into three thicknesses, creating a 3-layer pad (on average, about 6′ x 8″ per sheet) to cover the area to be treated. For example, to use a castor oil pack over the abdominal area, the size of the flannel cloth would be 10 inches long by 8 inches wide (3 sheets thick). The packs can be small, smaller or slightly larger (up to 12″x 10″)

2. Cut a plastic sheet. Cut a plastic sheet so it is somewhat larger than the flannel cloth. The plastic is used to protect the heating pad from getting oily. Using a plastic garbage bag normally works fairly well, but it is best to avoid using plastic grocery bags, since they are usually printed with ink on one side which can dissolve and spread when exposed to castor oil.

3. Saturate cloth with castor oil. Place the flannel cloth on top of the plastic sheet. Then saturate it with castor oil(about 3-4 tablespoons). The cloth should be wet but not dripping. The saturated cloth should then be placed directly on the skin with the plastic sheet on top of it. Your plastic sheet should cover the entire exterior of the saturated flannel, since castor oil is likely to stain any fabric it touches.

4. Place heating pad over plastic sheet. Then, place a heating pad over the top of the plastic sheet on either a low or medium setting, or higher if it is comfortable. The heat will promote absorption, increase circulation, and help the body to relax. This is generally left in place for approximately 30 to 60 minutes (up to 1½ hours). You may place a bath towel over the top of the heating pad to help hold in heat and an elastic bandage to hold it in place.

5. Wash Off Area. After using the castor oil pack, cleanse the skin using a wash cloth and Liquid Soap. Washing the area helps clear acidic toxins which have been drawn out of the body during the treatment and helps prevent reabsorption of these toxins.

Castor Oil Pack Without Heat

An alternative method is to apply the castor oil pack without heat, using a towel wrapped around the body (with safety pins to hold it in place). This can be left on for several hours, overnight or for an entire 24-hour period.

Re-Use of the Same Castor Oil Pack

Each cotton flannel pack may be used only once because, during the course of treatment, the pack gradually absorbs toxins and waste products. Therefore, after use, discard the pack. It is not recommended to try to wash out the pack for re-use.

Frequency of Castor Oil Packs

In general, the castor oil packs are recommended 2 to 4 times per week, for 30 to 60 minutes (up to 1 ½ hours) per session, for 3 to 6 weeks or longer. At first, it may work better to skip a day in between the use of each pack, rather than using them on consecutive days.

Long-term Chronic Illness

If a person has been chronically ill for a long time, if they have a high degree of toxicity or if they have significant difficulty in eliminating toxins (such as with kidney failure), then it is best if the packs are used on alternating days for the first week or so and for smaller amounts of time (such as 15 to 30 minutes only per session). As the general condition of the body improves, the packs may be used more frequently and/or for longer periods of time (for 1 to 1½ hours per session).

Cleansing Reactions

The use of castor oil packs should always be gentle, without side effects. Cleansing reactions, such as a rash, are rare. If they occur, it usually indicates that the body’s ability to eliminate toxins is not sufficient yet. It may be necessary to temporarily decrease the frequency or length of time of using the packs. The most common cleansing reaction is a rash that may occur at the site of the pack. If this occurs, it is typically noticed during the first few applications of the pack. It may be relieved by using the Medi-Soak, a gentle detoxifying bath using highly peizo-electrically charged sea salts for electrolyte replacement and detox. Also, boost adrenal function by taking

Caution: Heat should not be used in conditions where it is normally contraindicated, such as appendicitis, diabetic neuropathy or over the abdomen during pregnancy. However, the castor oil pack may be used without heat in these conditions.

For Superior Health

Castor oil packs are one of those rare remedies that cannot be used too much. Many people continue to use castor oil packs periodically throughout their lives to help boost the immune system, to keep the lymphatic circulation clear, to assist in proper eliminations and to always feel their best.
